Safeguarding Policy

Protecting children and vulnerable adults in our community

Our Commitment to Safeguarding

“The care and protection of children, young people, and vulnerable adults involved in church activities is the responsibility of the whole church.”

William Temple Church is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. We follow the safeguarding policies and practices of the Church of England and the Diocese of Manchester.

Everyone who participates in the life of the church has a role to play in promoting a Safer Church for all. We take all concerns seriously and will respond appropriately to any allegation or concern.
